Alex and I first met at a movie night at our mutual friend James Harrison’s house in October 2025. We didn’t talk much that night, but I definitely noticed him (and yes, I thought he was cute). A few days later, my phone started ringing with a number I didn’t recognize — so naturally, I ignored it. Then came the text: “Hey, I’m grabbing dinner tonight anyway… want to join?” Spoiler alert: I said yes.
We went to The American for our first date, and what was supposed to be a quick bite turned into three hours of nonstop talking — we literally shut the place down. From there, we were inseparable: FSU basketball games, skeet shooting, movie nights, Clemson football, you name it. We’ve traveled together to places like South Africa, France, the Netherlands, New Orleans, and Greenville — and bonded over our love of college football, scary movies, church, and even snails (yes, the kind you eat). I adore his family and his two dogs, Sam and Kate. I can’t wait to marry my favorite adventure buddy and keep making memories together.
Abbey and I met the same night she mentioned — at James Harrison’s movie night. I remember thinking she was way out of my league… but luckily, our friend Jamie gave me a little confidence boost and told me Abbey wanted me to call because she thought I was cute (thanks, Jamie). So, I did what any guy should do — I called her. She didn’t answer. But I’m nothing if not persistent, so I texted her to grab dinner, and the rest is history.
We dated for a little over a month before making it official after the Clemson vs. South Carolina game. Our schedules were crazy at the time, but somehow, we always made time for each other. I took her to South Africa — a place close to my heart — to show her safari life, and she fit right in. We even found out we were born at the same hospital (fate, right?). From adventures abroad to Sunday night scary movies, she’s become my person. I can’t wait to start this next chapter together.
